Diamonds Rugby Club, proudly wearing their newly sponsored jerseys, played hosts to Jansenville in a league fixture.

The second team beat Jansenville 15-0 and the 1st XV had an exciting game, running out victors with a 34-13 score line.

However, it was the new gear that had the tongues wagging - the logo on the jerseys NCCC. NCCC is the abbreviation for Noupoort Christian Care Centre, the sponsors of the jerseys that the players wore with pride.

With unemployment being rife in Noupoort, when an organisation such as NCCC steps in to make a difference, then surely other businesses can follow suit to assist the youth in sport and keep them away from a criminal lifestyle.
